These are the website terms and conditions of Kolamba at Home Ltd trading as “Kolamba Home” in the UK.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

  1. Meanings

Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” & “our” refer to Kolamba Home. Customers are referred to as “you” or “your”.

  1. General

We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect from when they are posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the Terms and conditions on each occasion that you use this website. Your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest Terms and Conditions.

It is prohibited by law to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. We will not sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. By placing an order with us you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or in the case of the order being a gift you also confirm that the recipient is 18 or over. You also confirm that the information that you give is correct and truthful.

The contract between us shall be governed by the Laws of the United Kingdom and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom. English is the only language offered for the conclusion of the contract.

When you place an order, we collect certain personal and transactional information (e.g. name, address, email address, credit/debit card details). For details on how we use this information, please read our Privacy Policy

  1. Products or Services

All orders that are being placed on this website are subject to these Terms and Conditions.

Acceptance of order and completion of contract are made once the order is confirmed by us and payment is being processed. English is the only language offered for the conclusion of the contract.

We reserve the right not to accept any order due to one or more of the following:

  • The product is out of stock.
  • Payment has not been authorised.
  • Error in pricing or product description.
  • The criteria in these Terms and Conditions are not being met.
  • Technical failure of the website.
  • Delivery address is outside of our specified delivery zone, and/or our courier is unable to fulfil next day delivery.

All products are subject to availability. In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply you with your request, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Once the order has been dispatched, we will send you a dispatch confirmation via email.

On occasion the product specification may change. If this does happen, we will do our best to contact you to offer you a substitute item of the same or better quality, at the same price. If you are not happy with the replacement item offered to you, we will refund you for the original unavailable item.

Please make sure to read the labels on the packaging for any allergy inquiries. Do not solely rely on the information given on the website as mistakes can occur.

All sizes and measurements are approximate but we do try to make sure that they are as accurate as possible.

All images of products in terms of colour etc. might vary from the computer screen view. We cannot guarantee that the image is an identical representation of the product.

All our products are being produced, where applicable, and stored in an environment where nuts are being used. Product may therefore contain traces of nuts.

Gift Cards

The value of your Kolamba Home gift card can be redeemed when dining in at Kolamba Restaurant (21 Kingly St, W1B 5QA) or online via Gift cards cannot be redeemed against any third party companies.

Gift cards are valid for 12 months from date of issue. A gift card cannot be used after the expiry date and any remaining balance will be removed and the card will become invalid and no longer available for use. We have no obligation to remind or inform you of a gift card’s expiry and it is your sole responsibility to ensure that any balance is used in full prior to expiry.

Gift Cards may be used to pay for the whole or any part of a meal in our restaurant or online order.

When dining in our Restaurant, gift cards must be redeemed in full.

You are solely responsible for the safe keeping and security of your gift card. In cases where your Kolamba Home gift card is lost or stolen, Kolamba Home is unable to replace or reimburse the remaining balance on a card. Kolamba Home cannot be held responsible for any balance lost on a Kolamba Home gift card as a result of theft or fraud.

Personal data relating to your purchase or use of a gift card will be used in accordance with current applicable data protection and privacy legislation and our privacy policy.

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

  1. Risk

Risk of damage or loss to the goods supplied passes to you when delivery is attempted whether successful or not. We cannot accept any claim for damage or deterioration after the delivery has been made. This does not affect your statutory rights.

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.

This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes to our site.

  1. Delivery

We have a minimum order value of £35.

Our orders are dispatched twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays, on an overnight delivery service, and should arrive at your address on Tuesday or Friday.

Orders are to be made by 1pm on Tuesday for delivery on Friday, and 1pm on Saturday for delivery on Tuesday. A delivery date must be selected to process your order.

Delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors and we cannot be held responsible for delays outside of our control. If delivery fails on the selected day, it may be reattempted the next day.

It is your responsibility to ensure that someone will be at the address to accept the delivery when being made.

Our insulated packaging will remain cool for up to 48hours. 

We currently do not delivery to the Highlands of Scotland

, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of White.

Please make sure the delivery address and postcode are correct as we take no liability for goods being undelivered due to incorrect/inaccurate address details.

All delivery times are estimates only. We cannot guarantee any delivery at any specific date or time.

It is your responsibility that someone will be at the address to accept the delivery when being made.

The delivery date specified in the checkout process, is the dates when the order will first be attempted to be delivered (unless due to any unforeseen circumstances).

Please contact us by email within 24 hours of expected delivery if your order has not arrived. The address is: We will respond within the next business day at the latest.

All sales are made on a retail basis, and we cannot offer wholesale or trade terms of sale. We may not be able to fulfil, and reserve the right to cancel orders for large quantities and bulk purchases where applicable.

  1. Payment / prices

All prices are quoted in GBP and are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) but exclude delivery costs unless otherwise stated.

Payment must be made when placing the order. This also applies to any pre-ordered items.

We accept payment by Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, American Express and Maestro.

When using the card, you confirm that you are the cardholder or have permission to make payment with the card by the cardholder.

The price you will be charged is the price stated on the website at the time we receive your order. In the unlikely event that an incorrect price has been given, we will contact you as soon as possible to see if you would like to go ahead with you order at the correct price or cancel the order. If we fail to get in contact with you, we will cancel the order in respect of the incorrect priced product.

Please make sure you receive a receipt of payment via email as well as a confirmation of your order. Failure of either to arrive might indicate that the order has not gone through successfully.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. We reserve the right to amend prices at any time at our discretion before, but not after, we accept orders.

We cannot be held responsible for any charges local Customs wish to apply to your order. We recommend that you check with your local customs authorities before placing an order with us.

  1. Cancellations & Amendments

You have the right to cancel/amend your order from when the order is placed up to 5 days from the day prior to the chosen delivery date confirmed at checkout. Your notice of cancellation/change must be made to us in written form, i.e. by email or post. For our contact details see the bottom of the terms of service.

Your right to cancel does not apply to any goods made to your specification.

You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all materials and/or content made available as part of your use of this website shall remain at all times vested in us. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us. The content of this website (including without limitation any text, video, audio, audio-visual materials and graphics) may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means without our prior written consent, except as stated below.

You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within this website is made available for your own personal and non-commercial use and that you may only download such material and content for the purpose of using this website. You further acknowledge that any other use of the material and content of this website is strictly prohibited and you agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.

  1. Gifts

Items ordered as gifts can be sent with tracked and signed services which requires the recipient to be available when delivery is made.

It is at your discretion to inform us if your order is a gift and if you would like a message indicating who the gift is from – please email with a minimum of 72 hours from the day prior to the scheduled delivery date.
